Community Schools
The Malone Central Community Schools Program works to promote increased parental involvement in school through the utilization of community resources in the learning process and the use of non-traditional methods of raising educational standards and student achievement.
The Parent Facilitators are the front-line workers in the Community Schools Program; advocating for students and their families, helping to address their questions and concerns, and facilitate access to community programs and services. The Parent Facilitators serve as liaisons between the Parents, School and Community, all working toward the common goal of academic achievement in a positive school environment for our children.
The Parent Facilitators work collaboratively with many local Community Service Agencies linking families with programs and services that are available within the community. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s academic progress or any community resources, please contact: Helen Tracy, Parent Facilitator, at (518) 483-7807
